This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, on servers located in Germany. Hetzner processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). When you visit the website, the server automatically logs the technical data listed above. We use these logs only to deliver the website, keep it secure, and investigate errors or abuse; this is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
All website resources, including fonts, are served from our own server. Apart from the newsletter sign-up form described below, which only loads when you click on it, the website does not load content from third-party services, and it does not use analytics or tracking tools.
You can subscribe to our newsletter, the RedWildPig Market Brief, using the sign-up form on this website. The newsletter is sent through beehiiv (beehiiv, Inc., USA), which processes your data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).
Double opt-in: after you enter your email address, you receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription. You are only added to the list once you click the confirmation link. We keep a record of your sign-up and confirmation (date, time and IP address) so we can prove that you gave your consent.
Sign-up form: the form is not loaded when you open a page. It is only loaded from beehiiv's servers when you click the "Subscribe by email" button. From then on, your browser sends technical data, such as your IP address and browser type, to beehiiv and to the services beehiiv uses for the form: Google (Google Tag Manager and Google Fonts, Google LLC, USA), the security providers Cloudflare and HUMAN, and the code library service jspm.io. Newsletter statistics: beehiiv records whether a newsletter email is opened and which links in it are clicked. We use this only to understand which topics are useful to readers.
